This fully-guided cycling holiday with personalised service, an unique opportunity for escapism.  The Tour du L'Ain international category event started in 1989. The 2008 edition is run over 4 stages and 567km and placed on the Continental Circuit two weeks after the Tour de France. With over 100 riders on the start line and many of the protour teams represented including Quick Step, Gerolsteiner, Rabobank, AG2R, FDJ and all the major French teams, a great opportunity to see the best in a relaxed environment.  This area of France approaches the great Alps and with superb roads of the department of L'Ain and the valley of the Rhone to be explored all within easy reach of your Hotel in the superb town of Annecy. This years event also offers the unique opportunity of taking part in a "L'etape cyclosportive", your own great day of riding of the actual race route the same day as the pros on the same stage roads!
